1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a website in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and software identifiers. They can operate only during a browser session or persist for a defined period. Cookies may be necessary for a requested feature or optional for analytics, advertising and personalization.
2. Current website status
Links to Google Play, the Apple App Store and third-party policies take you to external services. Those services may place their own cookies after you leave Chef Loop’s website, under their own notices.
3. Current and planned cookie table
| Technology | Status and purpose | Typical duration | Control |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential site cookies | None currently set by Chef Loop’s static site. If a security, load-balancing or consent mechanism later requires essential storage, it will be limited to that operation. | Session or the shortest necessary period. | Essential storage may be required for the requested feature. |
_ga | Not currently active. If Google Analytics is enabled on this website, this first-party cookie distinguishes browser users for aggregate measurement. | Google’s default is up to 2 years, subject to browser limits and our configuration. | Optional; enabled only after consent where required. |
_ga_<container-id> | Not currently active. If Google Analytics is enabled, this first-party cookie maintains session state. | Google’s default is up to 2 years, subject to browser limits and our configuration. | Optional; enabled only after consent where required. |
| Consent preference | Not currently needed because optional tags are not loaded. If a consent banner is introduced, a necessary preference may remember your selection. | Normally 6–12 months. | You can reset the choice by clearing site data. |
Before activating optional website analytics or advertising storage, we will update this table and deploy consent controls where legally required. Google describes its GA4 website cookies in its official cookie documentation.
4. Mobile app identifiers are not browser cookies
Chef Loop’s mobile SDKs may use app-instance IDs, Firebase Installation IDs, advertising identifiers, publisher identifiers, purchase tokens and consent strings. Although these technologies can serve purposes similar to cookies, they are controlled through the game, device or store settings rather than browser cookie controls. See the Privacy Policy for details.
5. Your choices
- Use browser settings to inspect, block or delete cookies and site data.
- If a Chef Loop consent banner is shown in the future, choose “Essential only” to refuse optional analytics storage or use “Manage choices” to change your preference.
- Use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported.
- Manage mobile analytics, tracking and advertising choices through in-game privacy controls, platform permission prompts and device advertising settings.
Blocking essential storage may prevent a requested feature from working. Refusing optional analytics will not block access to the public website.
6. Changes
We may update this policy when the site’s technology or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
